MVP Mailhouse

MVP Mailhouse

With the use of online marketing, social media ads, and SEO optimization, it is important to remember that direct mail marketing still works! It should be part of your overall marketing campaign.

Yes, snail mail still has a place in any practice’s marketing program. In fact, studies have shown that direct mail has a higher response rate than email marketing. With direct mail, it’s often times easier for potential patients to understand and grasp as it is the main focus as they hold that postcard in their hands. It is a physical item that they save on their desk or fridge door that is a constant reminder of your practice.

However, with any marketing campaign, it’s important to ensure that is targeting the proper demographic. Otherwise, you are just flushing money down the toilet and that is certainly not the Nifty Thrifty way!

I had a colleague who decided to do a DIY postcard campaign to save money. He created his postcard from a online company that had set templates. He created the copy and when it came to mailing options, he just selected a couple demographic attributes that he wanted and picked 10k addresses to send it to. He then took the postcards to the post office to mail it off. Save money and blast the targeted area with your flashy post card, right? He got a total of 4 responses.

It turned out that the area that he targeted didn’t really meet the clientele requirements that he wanted. His practice was a family practice. He targeted an up and coming area that was more of a young professional neighborhood. It was nice and it was growing but was it really optimal for his practice? Was it the most effective use of his mailers? I’d say no.

Why struggle with all this when for a few cents more, you can have MVP Mailhouse research, create, and mail out awesome post cards for you? MVP Mailhouse only works with dental offices and so they know what they are doing! With their heat map analysis, they will tell the best areas to target.

I used to do my own mailers and trust me, it was a pain and my results were mediocre at best. Once I worked with MVP Mailhouse, I realized that sometimes trying to save a couple dollars here and there was actually costing me thousands of dollars in potential patients.

I had a chance to talk with Aaron Boone of MVP Mailhouse and he knows his stuff! They just don’t design postcards for you. They will take the time to understand your practice, research and find the best areas to target, and create the perfect mailer to get the best response rate. They track each campaign so that you know where your patients coming from and what campaign was the most effective!  Can you do that? I guess you can if you don’t plan on practicing and doing this as your full time job. I prefer to to let the experts do it so that I can focus on dentistry.

Listen to my chat with Aaron and see how MVP Mailhouse can amp up your marketing plan with direct mailers!
